  i personally feel that vaccinations are beneficial.

  there has been a modern movement that vaccinations are more harmful than beneficial to which i disagree.

  Forgot to mention, the nurse came to visit each day to monitor progress, even on Saturdays and Sundays. Sometimes a doctor would come too. Those were the days when doctors made house calls routinely and inexpensively.

  As a child of the '40s I remember how when we had a communicable disease such as mumps or measles or chicken pox, we were quarantined to our homes. A nurse from the city would come to our homes to make the diagnosis and then place a Quarantine sign at the front door of the house. I was quarantined myself twice, once for mumps and again for measles. Vaccines were sparsely administered in those days. I was confined to bed until I recovered and thought it a nice vacation from school.
  

  Vaccines can be beneficial if they are safely produced and do not contain anything which may cause harm to any human. There is evidence, however, that vaccines may contain harmful chemicals which are unnecessary. When I hear of children or adults experiencing life threatening reactions or permanent disability in response to a vaccination I am very curious. Why?

  Is Being a “Manly Man” a Bad Thing?

  shaving commercials are now lecturing us as to how bad we really are.

  Frankly, I do not believe that a Manly Man is a bad thing at all.

  While on the topic of Manly Men, I am wondering how Real Men react to news such as this:

  For me personally, the thought of killing a baby in the womb at any stage of their development seems truly wicked and evil. Even as a youngster growing up in the '50s I remember how wrong it seemed to me that abortions were a reality. Is it a manly trait to believe that killing an infant is wrong?

  The problem is that Corporations are able to do pretty much as they please within their own "voluntarily entered" jurisdictions. Corporations are able to make their own rules which may strongly contradict society in general and even the Constitution. What the WTBorg.inc are doing is not unique. Other Corporations have already set the precedent.

  Although it would be gratifying to see some sort of positive response to the request, is it likely?

  I am a proud Jehovah's Witness Defender

  my name is matthew j and i have just ended my study with the jehovah's witnesses.

  no, i did not stop studying because i believe the jehovah's witnesses are a 'cult', i left due to the minor beliefs that i hold that remain separate from the organization.

  i called my elder who is still an amazing man and great counselor, affirming that i do not wish to continue my studying.

  Matt seemingly echoes what many of us felt while in the early stages of getting to know the witnesses and their indoctrination process. What they have been taught to present to the uninitiated is really quite impressive and it does lead one to believe that what they are "seeing" at that moment is true.

  Until one is baptized and a part of the structure one will be treated well. The Love Bombing ends quite abruptly with membership. It is only then that one is able to see and feel the pressures and the fears that are intended to keep one in.

  Count yourself very fortunate Matt. You've made a clean escape.

  Yep, it pretty much reinforces the idea that "my eyes are open and I'm awake!" "I can see how the deception works and my mind is free!" Or words to that effect. The authors of the song probably had a Cult Experience, no?

  I'd say it's a good fit for all of us Xs.

  Those who are living under the ever present fear of losing standing, family and friends will say and do whatever is expected of them. That is the nature of Cults.

  But, do they actually believe? It depends. Some do; some do not; some are wondering. Often it is necessary to pretend in order to maintain stability once snared in the trap.
  

  While there may be reason to see World Events as indications that the Biblical End of This Age is near, how ever it will occur will be quite different from the teachings of WTBorg.inc. Gotta admit, we're living in some weirdly increasing craziness presently, so I for one do believe (and hope) that the End of Corruption, Wickedness, Suffering and War is approaching. I suspect we'll all be very surprised in the not too distant future.

  Family reunion

  my wife and i just enjoyed a family reunion with both my sons ,one wife and one grandchild 10 years old ,where they stayed at our house for a week .. the best week we have had for many a year .

  the couple live only 2 hours away by car and the other son and his child live 2 states away 2 hours by plane.. and thankfully they are no longer associated with the borg that i now regretfully brought them up in , so the borg will never get their children.. it was a happyfying time .
